Dr. Graham Abela, Founder

Graham Abela is as a public safety leader and has served as a police officer for 31 years, in Alberta.  He was Commissioned and has served as a police executive since 2003, and for the past 9 years as a Chief of Police.  A current member of the Alberta Association of Chiefs of Police (AACP), a Director on the Board of Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams, Director on the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Human Resources Committee, and Executive Sponsor of the AACP Human Resources Committee, he has the experience to help you at LeaderTalk.  He holds a Doctorate of Education in Leadership from the University of Calgary and a Masters Degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University.  He is a published author, a speaker, has won provincial and local awards for his leadership, a Member of the Order of merit of the Police Forces, and is the founder of LeaderTalk. and the Leadership Alignment Principle. Dr. Abela is ready to assist you in your leadership needs.

Angeline Abela, MA (Leadership)

 Angeline Abela is public safety leader who has 25 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services. Angeline's main area of research and action is in women's leadership development. She is a founding member and vice chair of the Alberta Health Services Women in EMS Leadership Workforce Resource group and also a founding member of the Women in Paramedicine Leadership group. Angeline is also a Fellow with the McNally Project for Paramedicine Research. She holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Leadership from the University of Guelph and is a published author. An international speaker on the topic of women in EMS leadership, her areas of interest also include diversity and inclusion, employment interview process and design, and organizational behavior. She is here to assist and support you in your leadership journey.

Jordan Cleland, MA (Leadership)

Jordan Cleland, MA (Leadership)

 Jordan Cleland is a respected leadership consultant and he specializes in leadership coaching, communications, public relations, fundraising, and strategy practice.

Jordan formerly served as Vice President, Advancement at Olds College. Jordan was presented the Gold Medal for Excellence in Leadership at the 2013 Colleges and Institutes Canada conference for his work in the the college system. He earned a Master’s in Leadership through Otago Polytechnic in New Zealand and certificates from York University, University of British Columbia and Harvard/MIT. Prior roles were with the Workers’ Compensation Board, KPMG Consulting and in the senior levels of government as a Ministerial Chief of Staff to two Ministers in four portfolios with the Government of Alberta.
